- All prices
are subject to any unforeseen changes and are to
be confirmed individually at the time of booking.
- Unless
other wise agreed, all tours are self guided (unescorted)
and
passengers are expected to start the tour from their
own country to any airport in Scandinavia or other
cities in EU at their own expense. We provide detail
day wise travel plan for making sure our guests
can have a pleasant self guided travel.
- Only
Breakfast is provided. Lunches and Dinners can be
offered as supplement only for group tours and are pre set as a - la carte is not possible.
- Any damages caused to the hotel rooms / Coach during your stay, shall be
payable by the passengers. Scandinavian Packages (SP) will not be liable for the same.
- Standard check in
time at the hotels in Scandinavia is 15:00
and check out time is 12:00. In case of early arrivals,
passengers can ask for room availability and leave
luggage in the luggage room. Before leaving for
sightseeing, passengers should check out and deposit
the luggage in the luggage rooms. SP is not liable
to pay in case the hotel decides to charge extra
in case on non vacation of room as per the check
out policy of the hotel.
- SP shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any
damages, loss, injury, accident, death, breakdown, or irregularity, which may
occur in carrying out the tour arrangement, weather conditions, strikes, war,
quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expense must be
borne by the passengers. Insurance policies must be carried by the passengers
themselves while on tour.
- SP reserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred
due to delay or changes in scheuled of train, aeroplane, bus, ship or other
services.
- Due to major international events such as
Trade Fairs, certain
accommodation may be
blocked. The itineraries may have to be
altered / amended accordingly.
- We reserve the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular
departure, excursion advertised.
- Once the
tour has started, no refunds / alterations are allowed.
- There are no refunds for any services i.e. meals, sightseeing etc.
which are not utilized
in your tour.
- Transfers with in
the city are arranged through taxi companies with
due care but SP is not responsible in the event
that the passengers are not able to locate the taxi
drivers. This may be due to sudden rush, late arrival or
any other reason at the airports, train stations,
ferry terminals,etc.. In the event the passenger
is not able to find the taxi, no compensation is
provided by SP and the passengers must make their
own arrangement to reach the destination.
- Cost excludes:
- Porterage
- Any increase in the rate of
exchange leading to an increase in surface transportation and land arrangements
which may come into effect prior to departure. The tour price is subject to increase without notice if this rate
changes substantially prior to departure.
- Any expenses of personal nature
such as porterage, laundry expenses, wines, mineral water, food and drink not in
the regular menu provided by us, minibar, telephone calls etc.
- Tips of any nature i.e.
drivers, tour managers etc.
- Cost of excursions, city
sightseeing, entrance fees and local guides availed of by the passengers, other
than that mentioned in the final itinerary

About
Scandinavian Packages:
Scandinavian
Packages AB (SP) is a registered tour operator
company based in Sweden with Organization number 556710-4889.
We want you to get the most out of your vacation.
Please read this brochure carefully. Note what is included
and what is not.
Climate
& Clothing:
Since the climate is
cold in most of the year around in Scandinavia, we recommend
light woollens even in the summer time.
Tour Guides:
All our trips are of
self guided nature. In case you need a dedicated tour
guide, the same can be arranged at an extra cost.
Hotel
Accommodations:
SP has chosen high standard
accommodations that offer premium comfort, a variety
of amenities and excellent service. Individual rooms
may vary as to size, view and location. Most accommodations
in Scandinavia are not air-conditioned as the normal
summer climate is cool and comfortable. We will be pleased
to provide examples of typical accommodations.
Baggage
Handling:
Baggage handling is not
included. Smaller
handbags, overnight bags, carry-ons, cameras, camcorders,
and all other personal belongings are the responsibility
of the tour participant. Neither SP nor the Scandinavian
tour companies will be responsible for any left / stolen
items.
Meals:
Meals are included
if agreed specifically in the tour itineraries. A Scandinavian
breakfast is always included.
Transportation:

Included in the tour
price is appropriate transportation within Scandinavia by
air, coach, minibus, ship, train,
express boat or ferry. The mode of transportation depends
on the size of your group.
Entrance
Fees: 
Entrance fees unless
specified in your travel itinerary is not included and
has to be paid at the
entrance separately.
Gratuities
and Taxes:
Price
for
baggage handling, housekeepers and dining room service
is not included unless otherwise indicated.
Occupancy:
Rooms are based on double
occupancy rates, tour prices for one person are higher
than for two or more travelers. Children above 5 years
can be provided
with an extra cot as a third person in the room. Please contact us to
find specific information.
Children:

Children are welcome
on the tour when accompanied by an adult. Following
discounts apply for children:
0 to 2 years: 90%
2 to 5 years: 80 % (no
extra bed)
5 to 12 years: 50 % (extra
bed)
> 12 years: Full adult charges
Tour
Participation:
Enjoyment of the tour
will be greatly enhanced if tour participants travel
lightly.
Itinerary
variations: 
In case of non availability
of any sectors, SP reserves the right
to make reasonable changes or substitutions to any tour
itinerary, as we deem necessary, desirable or appropriate.
Deposit:

To ensure your bookings,
full payment must be made within
14 days of receipt of our final invoice. We advise as
early bookings as possible.
Discounts:

Please contact us for
your group size and the package you are interested in
we shall work out discounts applicable on a case basis.
Insurance:
SP strongly recommends
that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy
that includes medical or any other travel related incidence
locally in your country of origin.
Tour
costs & conditions:
Payment:
25 % payment must be
made immediately on confirmation of availability by
credit card or through wire transfer by bank. Full payment must be
made before 30 days of arrival date by direct wire transfer through
bank. If the balance payment is made by credit card,
2% extra charges of the amount value shall apply. We send the bank
detail and payment instructions on our invoice.
Tour
Rates:
Tour rates are based
on airfares, rates and tariffs in effect at the time
of printing and are based on the value of the Euro relative
to the Scandinavian currencies. Land costs are subject
to change dependent on the strength of the Euro. Airfare
fluctuations and government imposed increases and taxes
may also affect the price of tours.
Tour
Cost:
The price of tours described
on this website includes land costs in Scandinavia.
SP reserves the right to change any
arrangement if we deem that to be necessary.
Flights:
SP will not be responsible
for missed or delayed flights or any consequences thereof.
Transfers

Transfers with in the
city are arranged through taxi companies with

Luggage:
It is the responsibility
of the tour participant to claim his/her own luggage
from baggage claim at airports / cruise terminal and to move the luggage
from the arrival area to the respective transfer points. Size limitations on
luggage apply as per the airlines / cruise company
rules and
regulations. We advise you to travel lightly for your
own comfort. Neither SP nor our associate companies
will be responsible for left items.
Meals:
Meals if agreed are prearranged
for groups.
Notice of special dietary considerations must be given
well in advance of tour departure. Drinks are not included
with meals.
Tour
Extensions:
SP will gladly work
with tour participants desiring to have extra days in
specific locations and customize their vacation plan
as per valid visa dates. Contact us for your extension options.
Itinerary
variations:

Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted
on motor coaches, airplanes, restaurants, and all accommodations
have smoking restrictions.
Cancellations
and Refunds:
Following are the cancellation
refunds applicable for any cancellations made due to
unforeseen circumstances of the participant:
1) 60 days prior to departure:
90 % of invoice value is refundable
2) 59-31 days prior to
departure: 75 % of invoice value is refundable
3) 30-15 days prior to
departure: 50 % of invoice value is refundable
4) 14-1 days prior to
departure: 25 % of invoice value is refundable
5) Canceling after tour
commences: No refunds
Please note that the
cost of any prearranged flight booking, train, cruise and any initial
payment for guaranteeing the tour is non refundable
and thus shall be deducted from the above amount.
Not
included in the tour price:
Personal
Expenses:
Room service, telephone
charges, alcoholic beverages, snacks, valet and laundry
services, taxis, or museum and site fees when on your
own.
Special
meals:
Meals not specified
in the itinerary are the responsibility of the tour
participant.
Tour
Escorts, Tour Guides, and Driver Tips:
For group tours, the customary tips to
tour escorts, tour guides, and motor coach drivers are
not included and should be extended on a voluntary,
individual basis as an expression of appreciation. Recommendations
on appropriate tips will be sent with other information.
Cancellation
by Tour Operator:
In the event of emergency,
SP reserves the right
to cancel any tour up to 30 days prior to departure
for any reason. In the event that a tour is cancelled,
tour participants will receive a full refund of all
money paid and such refund will constitute full and
final settlement to the tour participant for such cancellation.
Preparation
and Planning:
After receipt of a reservation
form:
1) We will inform you
the cost and send you an estimated price.
2) We agree on a price,
scope of our services and send you an invoice.
3) After you have made
the payment, we wil send you a confirmation with a detail
itinerary, additional travel information
pertaining to places you will visit.
Passports,
Visas, and Other Identification:
Travelers
to Scandinavia must have a valid passport and visa is
required as per the laws of individual countries of
origin. We request that you furnish us with a photocopy of the
information and picture page of your passport as soon
as possible. This facilitates replacement of passports
in case of loss or theft, and is necessary for verification
of name, age and citizenship when traveling internationally.

Responsibility:
Scandinavian Packages
AB is not responsible for and cannot be held liable
for any injury, loss, damage, accident, detention, annoyance,
expense or delay arising from (a) quarantine, strikes,
force majeure, failure of any vehicle or means of conveyance
to arrive or depart as scheduled, disturbances, government
restrictions or regulations or through the acts or default
of any company or persons engaged in conveying the tour
participant or providing any tour service and other
cases over which we have no control or (b) through any
tardiness, misconduct or illegal acts on the part of
any tour participant. Compensation for any mishap must
be sought in the country where mishap occurred. SP
reserves the right to refuse, accept, or retain any
person as a member of any tour at any time.
