In one of the most anticipated
royal events in the history of Sweden, Stockholm is
gearing up for the royal wedding of HRH Crown Princess
Victoria and Mr. Daniel Westling.
The kick off
for the celebrations is on 6th June 2010, Sweden's National
Day and the week following will be themed “Love Stockholm
2010”. The party then continues the following two weeks,
peaking on the Royal Wedding Day on 19th June. The venue for Love Stockholm
2010 is primarily the city centre – for example Kungsträdgården
and Skeppsbron.*

1: 18th June
|

Arrival
in Stockholm. We provide you a transfer from Arlanda airport to your hotel. Take some time
to discover Stockholm on your own and relax for the
day.
Stockholm is built across 14 islands and is often called the Venice of the
North. With more foreign visitors than any other city in Scandinavia it is also
considered to be the Capital of Scandinavia.

2: 19th June
|
|

After
a filling Scandinavian breakfast, get ready for a day
full of adventure.
Witness the celebrations for the Royal Wedding at Kungsträdgården
which will be the place for concerts, singing, performances
and other musical expressions.At Strömparterren and Skeppsbron stages
will be built for performances, music and entertainment.
Stockholm is well known for its cultural activities
for, by and with children. A special programme for children
is therefore planned for the Royal Wedding.

Day
3: 20th June
|
After
a buffet breakfast, discover Stockholm at your own pace
with your 24 hour Stockholm card. Stockholm is situated at the point
where the vast Lake Mälaren flows into the Baltic Sea and was built on this
strategic spot in the mid 13th century, enabling the founder to tax merchant
vessels going in and out of the lake.
Experience
art and culture strolling along Strandvägen with exciting
sounds – in the spirit of poetic love. At Karl XII's
Square, the Information Centre at the Stockholm Pavilion
will exhibit Stockholm of the future.

to Arlanda airport / train station for your onward destination
