You do not require any visa for Russia for these trips for all the nationalities. If you are traveling with Schengen visa, you may like to obtain multiple entry Schengen visa.

Requirements for visitors without Visa:

  • Return must be in 72 hours, starting from the arrival to St. Petersburg
  • Passport with at least 6 months validity
  • Shuttle bus ticket (included in the visa free cruise packages)
  • Hotel/hostel reservation (in case of passenger stays overnight in St. Petersburg)
For visa-free entrance you need to provide following passport details when you book your cruise:
  • First name(s) and surname
  • Date and place of birth
  • Passport number and expiry date
  • Citizenship
The visa free stay in Russia is valid for 72 hours only in case the clients arrive and depart by one of St. Peter Line ships. In case one arrives early in the morning and the departure is in 3 days in the evening, one has to leave a ship after 3 PM and return to the ship at 3 PM so that the 72 hour limit has not been exceeded. Those passengers who will break the rules and will stay more than 72 hours are obliged to pay the fee up to 500 EUR per person as well as to make Russian visa to be able to leave the country. The process of issuing visa can take up to 10 days. All the expenses for accommodation, meals ,transportation etc during this period have to be covered by the person who has broken the rules. Please also note that once the person has not followed the visa free terms the 5 year visa waiver can be applied to him.

In case a passenger has Schengen visa, it must be allowed for multiple entry. The above visa regulations are valid at the time of publication (Oct 2017). Scandinavian Packages cannot accept any responsibility for the changes Russian authorities might apply to the visa regulations.
