Our natural experience starts from Kolarbyn which is situated two hours drive from Stockholm, Sweden. It is a natural refuge for silence, wilderness and adventure in a beautiful forest setting. Just relax, take your time and enjoy the nature.

Kolarbyn consists of thirteen little forest huts located in a glade by the beautiful lake Skärsjön in the forests of Bergslagen. Many guests come here for lodging in one of the huts, just like a normal hotel, just a little more primitive and much more adventurous! Here is no electricity nor running water, instead you will get live candles collect your drinking water out of a well. Fall asleep by crackling fireplace and slowly wake up to bird´s song and a wakening swim in the lake. It is undoubtely a cosy nature experience in the Swedish forest for both family and friends.

The area offer good opportunities for outdoor activities with excellent fishing, walking trails, fire places, deep forests and of course moose to explore.
