Day
1: Arrival in Oslo- Transfer to hotel- Oslo Sightseeing
|
| On
arrival
in Oslo, we provide you a dedicated transfer
to reach your hotel. The port town of Oslo is the capital of Norway Oslo
celebrated its 1000 year anniversary in the year 2000. Until 1814, it was
known as Christiania after
the Danish-Norwegian king. The city is beautifully situated at the head of Oslo
Fjord surrounded by forested ridges, and this very location gives Oslo
unexpected qualities for a national capital.
Start
the
day long Oslo tour which allows you to see all of Oslo’s main attractions at your own pace and
convenience, with the freedom to take a break from your tour at any time to
explore a sight further, or maybe go for lunch or shopping. Explore the
Royal
Palace, the
City Hall, the Akershus fortress. Spend some time on the

Day
2: Flight to Tromsø - Norwegian Cruise starts
|
|

|
After breakfast transfer
to Oslo airport for your flight to Tromsø, the flight
takes abour 2 hours. Tromsø
is the capital of the Arctic Norway, has much to see.
Tromsø has been the starting point for many polar expeditions.
A university town, blessed with a girdle of peaks reminicent
of Switzerland, Tromsø is one of the most pleasant of
coastal towns. In

Departure Skjervøy 22.45 The
Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) are a natural
phenomenon caused by electrically charged solar particles
passing into the Earth’s atmosphere.
Aurora Borealis means ‘dawn of the north’, the
aurora can appear abruptly, filling the sky with incredible
speed with great arcs as ghostly wisps in green, yellow,
red and violet dance above the horizon, before disappearing
again. You are most likely to see them
above the Arctic Circle between November and February.

3: Arrival at North Cape - Stay at Fisherman's cabin
|
|
Enjoy breakfast on board. Arrival Honningsvåg 11.45 Excursion to the North

Day
4: King Crab and Cot fishing in the Barents sea
|
|

Breakfast 08.00 Meeting at the quay 09:00 King Crab and Cot fishing
in the Barents SeaToday’s activity
is to catch fish for dinner!. We head towards the
fishing fields of the Arctic Ocean outside Mehamn. Each
participant will get a fishing rod and there will be
a fishing competition where the winner will get a reward
during dinner in the evening. On this trip there might
be a chance to spot the sea eagle, seals and porpoises.
You can catch cod, coalfish, wolf fish and halibut.
Fishing rods are available to borrow onboard the MK
Odd Tore.The chef prepares lunch onboard. After lunch,
we look for crabs and some of the catch will be prepared
for tonight’s dinner. After we’ve finished fishing,
we head back to the fisherman’s cabins where we will
learn how to prepare the catch for dinner.

Day
5: Arrival in Kirkenes - Flight to Oslo
|
| The
county of Finnmark is the northernmost county in Norway. The surface
area is 48,637 km2 and there are approximately 73,200 inhabitants.
Primary industries are fishing, fishing industry, aquaculture, tourism,
reindeer farming, mining and service industries. Just
10 kilometres from the Russian border, Kirkenes
is one of Europe’s most remote outposts. It has
fewer than 10,000 inhabitants-but its airport handles
around 100, 000 passengers a year. Mining, saw mills
and catering for the Russian fishing fleet all help

the afternoon, take the flight back to Oslo. On
arrival you are transferred back to your hotel.
